Dr. Amanda Wehle PT, DPT
I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I am passionate about giving back to the community that has given me so much. I received my doctorate in physical therapy from the University of South Florida in Tampa. I started my career at an in-patient rehabilitation hospital where I found my passion for treating and caring for patients with neurological conditions. My experience at an inpatient rehabilitation hospital involved treating a diverse patient population with a wide variety of diagnoses, as well as the opportunity to work on foundational skills for patients with neurological conditions after acute hospital discharge.
Getting the opportunity to be a part of someone’s journey, working with them as a team to problem solve, accomplish goals, and make meaningful functional improvement is a privilege. I am committed to providing the highest quality evidence-based care by creating an individualized plan that recognizes the unique needs of every person.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my family, rock climbing, kayaking and doing ballet. I find so much joy in movement and believe physical activity is an important part of living a healthy lifestyle. This is one of the many factors that pushed me to pursue becoming a physical therapist and continues to inspire the care I provide.
