Owner/Physical Therapist
When I was in middle school, my grandad in Vietnam suffered from a stroke. At that time, I did not have much knowledge about stroke rehab and stroke recovery, but I could tell that his quality of life was deteriorating. He became wheelchair and bed-bound with severe language difficulty due to having no access to Physical therapy, Occupational therapy and Speech therapy. When I learned that there was a way to significantly improve stroke survivors’ quality of life, I was immediately drawn to the profession of Physical Therapy. Now, every time I treat a patient with stroke, I think about what I would have wanted for my grandpa.
Our current healthcare system does not allow patients with neurological conditions to receive enough therapy to maximize their recovery. While working as an inpatient rehab therapist, I recognized a huge gap in intensive therapy and post-discharge recovery, and always wondered where my patients would end up after finishing with me in rehab. I’ve always prided myself in my treatment approach and my ability to challenge my patients, and was struggling to find neuro therapist in the area that would provide one-on-one, high intensity, high quality treatment for my patients. Knowing
that there is minimal rehab option for neuro patients post hospital discharge, I started Neubility. I now have the flexibility to both treat my patients in-home or in a gym space. Being in one’s home gives me the advantages of addressing challenges around their own environment. Being in the gym allows me to have more space, equipment and to challenge my patients in many different ways. It is the best of both worlds!
I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2019. After graduation, I followed my passion of working with patient with neurological conditions at an inpatient rehab facility in Largo, FL. Recognizing that there is a gap between intensive rehab and at home recovery/community integration, I created Neubility with hope to continue serving this population long-term. I have a background in treating patients with stroke, especially the younger stroke population (under 65), Parkinson’s disease, Guillain-Barre, brain and spinal cord injury and vestibular/balance disorders. I take pride in my expertise to incorporate high intensity, high repetition, evidence-based approach to neuro recovery. With my background in functional lifting and personal training, I also believe in empowering patients to take charge of their wellness journey post rehab.

Core Values:
My only job in life is to be a good human.
Sometime making small changes or providing the appropriate tools and compensation and increase the quality of life for someone with neurological condition tremendously
I am the owner of the company. From a PT perspective, I specialize in neurologic conditions, with stroke and Parkinson’s being the conditions that I enjoy treating the most. From a management perspective, I came from a student affair background, so building team culture is a huge part of my management style. I enjoy providing an environment that everyone can thrive in and do their best work.
I am treating Stroke and Parkinson’s and I love this awesome practice that I got to build from the ground up. My favorite part about coming to work is watching my therapists thrive and grow. I like how they always constantly collaborating, asking questions and looking for each other’s feedback to improve their patient experience. We also have a ton of fun working with our patients and bring our creativity to life in our treatment approaches.

When I’m not working:
In another life I would be a chef or a florist. I love cooking (all kind of cuisines), tending my garden, lifting heavy weights at the gym, spending time with my partner Trevor and our 2 dogs Wall-E and Leo, kayaking, trying new restaurants, and hanging out with friends.
